Our Bunaken Sunglasses are our most unique model. They are entirely made out of acetate except for the top of each lens leaving the top exposed and creating a unique style. The arms are zebra wood and are much lighter than the frame. The lenses are oval creating a casual look when worn.
This model is named after The Bunaken National Marine Park located in Indonesia off the coast of The North Sulawesi Island. It is located at the heart of the Coral Triangle and is best known for it's warm, clear waters and impressive wall reefs which are sheer vertical cliffs filled with extravagant coral structures. Due to it's unique locations, oceanic currents sweep a steady supply of nutrients through the reserve creating an abundance of life.
*Plant-Based Acetate is made up of a biopolymer derived from Wood Pulp and Natural Cotton Fibers. The material is known for it's lightweight thin construction and strength while remaining flexible. Acetate does not harm the environment, is eco-friendly, is hypoallergenic, and is made from renewable materials.
