Our Turneffe Sunglasses are our most classic style. The sunglasses come in two styles. The black style has dark grey lenses and dark acetate frames, and the yellow style have gold colored lenses with tortoise frames.
This model is named after The Turneffe Atoll located in Belize within Central America. The atoll is one of three atolls of the Belize Barrier Reef. It was declared a marine reserve in 2012 and is home to The Great Blue Hole which it is famous for. It is home to many different kinds of fish such as goliath groupers, moray eels, spot jacks, barracudas, manatees and spotted dolphins.
*Plant-Based Acetate is made up of a biopolymer derived from Wood Pulp and Natural Cotton Fibers. The material is known for it's lightweight thin construction and strength while remaining flexible. Acetate does not harm the environment, is eco-friendly, is hypoallergenic, and is made from renewable materials.
