This model is named after The Sinharaja Forest Reserve in Sri Lanka, an island which neighbors India. The forest is located in the south-west of Sri Lanka and is home to many threatened and endangered species such as The Sri Lankan Leopard (critically endangered), Sri Lankan Elephant (endangered), and Purple-Face Langur (endangered)
