Our Monteverde Watch is elegant and classy. It has a bright wood bezel surrounding the clock face which creates a bold contrast to the black dial and black leather strap. The crown of the watch is located at the 4 o'clock position making it stand out from the others. The watch is larger than most of our models at 42mm in diameter but is only 10.5mm thick
This model is named after The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in Costa Rica within Central America. It is home to many vulnerable and endangered species such as the Jaguar, Squirrel Monkey, Giant Anteater, and Baird's Tapirs
The forest is a critical habitat for these species and are wildlife sanctuaries. However these animals' populations are decreasing due to increased rates of deforestation and forest fragmentation as a result of the country's booming tourism industry
